When you send us a brief through the form on this site, we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, the property type and areas you are interested in, your budget range, your timeline, whether you have viewed property in Marbella before, and anything you write in the free text field.

We do not ask for financial account details, identity documents or any special category data. Please do not send them through the form.

To search the market on your behalf and reply to you. The legal basis is performance of a contract at your request, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

To introduce you to an estate agency holding a property you want to view. Same legal basis.

To keep basic records of enquiries and introductions, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the business, Article 6(1)(f).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Estate agencies. When a property matches your brief and you tell us you want to view it, we pass your name, contact details and the relevant parts of your brief to the agency holding that property. We tell you which agency before we do it. We do not send your details to agencies you have not agreed to be introduced to, and we do not distribute your brief to a list of agencies.

Service providers. Formspree Inc. in the United States processes the form submission and delivers it to us by email. Our hosting provider serves the website. Transfers outside the EEA are made under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Nobody else. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.

We measure aggregate visitor numbers using tools that set no cookies and store nothing on your device. They process technical data your browser sends with any request, including IP address and browser type, to produce visitor counts. We do not use this to identify you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Full detail is in our cookie policy.

We keep your brief and our correspondence for 24 months from your last contact with us. Where an introduction led to a completed purchase, we keep records of that transaction for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. After that we delete it.

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to have it sent to you in a portable format.

Email hello@findmarbella.com and we will respond within one month. We will not ask you to justify the request.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, at www.aepd.es, or to the supervisory authority in your own country.

We use encrypted connections and limit access to your data to the people who need it to carry out the search. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.

This service is for adults buying property. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

If we change how we handle data we will update this page and change the date at the top.
